Past the apple trees is a story about the vietnamese/cantonese brothers Long (6) and Andy (13) as they grow up in suburban Norway during the early 2000s. The film follows the brothers, after they run away from home, in the hopes of reuniting with their father, after their parents divorce.

LAN is a hybrid short, set in suburban Norway during the early 2000s. LAN follows fourteen-year-old William, a lonely teen who hides his insecurity behind arrogance. When he discovers his best friend Sam has arranged a LAN party without inviting him, he shows up anyways. As an uneasy tension rises, William decides the best way to prove himself is to best them all in a game of 8v1.

The hottest day of the year is a satire about sorrow, community and outsiderness. The morning after the 2022 shooting against Oslo Pride, Mariell (30) runs to her best friend Thomas´ house. She needs to speak with him, but realises his family has decided to throw a poolparty today.
Now Mariell has to navigate inflatable flamingoes, pride flags and right wing uncles while trying to mourn yesterdays events with Thomas.

Mindre Film was established in 2024 by producer Stian Skjelstad, looking to produce high quality Norwegian short format productions and feature films within fiction, animation and hybrid-formats.
Stian Skjelstad studied producing at The Norwegian Film School, and is an Amanda-winning producer with his latest short film "Mercy". His producer feature debut A Human Position (2022) was part of the Bright Future program in Rotterdam IFF, the Zabaltegi-Tabakalera Program in San Sebastian IFF and New Directors program at the Chicago IFF.
Earlier, he worked as a festival producer in Tromsø and in political communications. He has also worked in production on several Norwegian features in both live action and animation, among them: the Sex, Dreams, Love-trilogy (2024), Captain Sabertooth and the countess of grel (2025) and Christmas with Astrid Lindgren (2023).
Mindre film currently has 4 titles in production and more in development
