ABOUT

Past the apple trees is a story about the vietnamese/cantonese brothers Long (6) and Andy (13) as they grow up in suburban Norway during the early 2000s. The film follows the brothers, after they run away from home, in the hopes of reuniting with their absent father, after their parents divorce.

WRITER/DIRECTOR

Victor Quach is a director/writer currently based in Oslo, Norway. Quach's stories focus on identity and belonging through the use of the intimate everyday lives of his characters. His short film EN MIDNATTS VUGGESANG premiered in the competition section at The Norwegian Film Festival. Currently he´s in preproduction with his project PAST THE APPLE TREES, as well as developing his feature film project UNDER STREETLIGHTS.
