ABOUT

Selma (18) is head over heels in love with Even (18), but how can she find out if Even feels the same way? “The First” is the story of being young and in love, and how the first small steps can be the scariest ones to take.

WRITER/DIRECTOR

Håkon Anton is a Norwegian director, screenwriter and editor. He graduated as a director from The Norwegian Film School in 2022. Prior to that, he studied film at Nordland College of Art and Film, psychology at the University of Oslo and some acting at NSKI University College. His short films have been screened at more than 100 film festivals, including Clermont-Ferrand, Tribeca, and Short Shorts. In 2023, he won the Norwegian National Film Award (Amanda) for Best Short Film with his graduation film from The Norwegian Film School, "Superdupermegagigasingle".
